Happy Birthday Sarah Tidwell!

Name: Sarah Tidwell
Student’s Name: Nathan Tidwell
Student’s Graduation Year: 2014
Your Birthday: October 31
Blog: None. Haven’t jumped on that bandwagon yet. J

-Tell us a little bit about yourself: I was born in Tokyo, Japan in the car enroute to the hospital.  I spent most of my childhood in foreign countries due to my Dad’s job. We lived in Japan, Canada, and Belgium and I loved every minute of it. I graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Dietetics. Here are some things I love in no particular order—black and white movies, classical literature, critical analysis of classical literature, vegetable gardens, pretending to practice the piano, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, crusty bread with honey butter, fall weather and fall fashion, people, and my wonderful family.  Nate and I have two girls, Ada, who will be three shortly, and Lydia, who is ten months old.

*If you could go anywhere in the world where would it be?
Right now it’s a toss up between England and Boston. I love American History and would like to actually see the places where much of it took place.  Most of my ancestors lived in England and I love so many British-based stores so I would love to see my ancestor’s homes and do some great shopping in the UK.

*What is your favorite tv show?
This will reveal how truly old-fashioned I am. Nate and I both love the Donna Reed Show and The Dick Van Dyke Show.  Both originated in the late fifties/sixties and I adore them.

*Best birthday memory?
When I turned 18 several of my friends surprised me by lining a tunnel that I walked through every day on our college campus with hundreds of pieces of paper—each with something kind that someone had written about me on it.  I was stunned by their forethought and felt very loved. I would recommend doing something like this for anyone you appreciate in your own life.

Happy Birthday Chelsi Adams!!

 Your Birthday: 10/31/1987

*Tell us a little bit about yourself:*

I'm a stay at home mom, the toughest/most rewarding job ever! We have
2 kiddos. Whitli's 4 and Weston's 2. They keep me on my toes. Kyle is
in his 3rd year, doing rotations at the Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital
in Michigan. We live in Trenton Michigan and love it! I of course miss
everything SAA and all my friends in KVille, but we are enjoying this
new chapter of our lives.

*What is your favorite tv show?

Arrested Development! We have all 2 1/2 seasons on DVD and I watch
them often. I'm super excited that they are coming out with more
episodes!

*What was the best job you ever had?

Working for the Unitah National Forrest Service. That's were Kyle and
I met. We both worked there for summer. I drove a tractor around and
spread weeds. It was so fun!! (If you didn't know... I'm a farmer girl
so driving a tractor was right up my ally)!

*What is one thing most people dont know about you?

I'm an identical twin... My mom had no idea she was having twins (she
thought we were just a really big boy). She went full term (39 weeks
and 6 days). She was due on Nov. 1st and we came Oct. 31st HALLOWEEN.
Can you say "Trick or Treat!"

*If you could get any gift for your birthday this year what would it be?

New running shoes!!!!

Happy Birthday Annie McAferty!

Name: Annie McAfertyStudent’s Name: Kenny McAfertyStudent’s Graduation Year: 2016Your Birthday: October 21Blog: angelamoonbaby.blogspot.com

-Tell us a little bit about yourself:
I grew up in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. After high school, I went to Provo and spent 5 years at BYU doing a bachelors and masters in Exercise Science. I moved to Chandler, AZ in August 2009 and met Kenny soon after that. We met while playing on the same co-ed soccer team. We got married in Mesa, AZ in March 2011. Before moving to Kirksville, I worked as an Exercise Physiologist in a Cardiac rehab and I loved it! I love all things wellness and exercise related. I'm also pregnant with our first; we're expecting a baby girl on Thanksgiving Day and we are so excited to meet her!

*if you could eat at any restaurant for your birthday what would it be? Tia Rosa (it's in Mesa, AZ); they have the best chile relleno!

*Who is your favorite musical group/band/singer? Joshua Radin. My music tastes have gotten significantly more chill as I've gotten older.

*If you could go anywhere in the world where would it be? Thailand- I lived there for a summer during college and I want to take Kenny to see it.

*What is your favorite movie? Jurassic Park!

*Best birthday memory? When I turned 16, my parents bought me tickets to see Enrique Iglesias. The tickets were for Salt Lake, so I drove to Utah with my mom and saw him with my mom and my two older sisters. It was so amazing! I loved Enrique then, and I still love him!

*what was the best job you ever had? LIfeguarding was pretty sweet- I loved getting paid to sit in the guard office. I am lazy at heart. But I would have to say my favorite job was my last one, as an Exercise Physiologist. I loved working with cardiac patients and being a part of their journey to a healthier life. It is really neat to help a non-exerciser realize that exercise is fun and for everyone.

*If you could get any gift for your birthday this year what would it be? I would love to have whatever creature(s)/animal(s) that is(are) living in my attic removed by my birthday. It's not normal when you know you don't have upstairs neighbors but there are sounds coming from above the ceiling. Gotta love Kirksville!

October General Meeting

For October's General Meeting we went on a photo scavenger hunt to find different sites from all over the school.

Bobbi Jo made up some amazing (and very hard!) riddles

Nicole was ready to go with her headlamp on!
We were put into groups and ran all over the school trying to figure out the riddles and take pictures in the right spot!
 Working hard!
At the end of the night we got to look at everyone's funny pictures and eat some delicious pumpkin muffins and apple cider.  Super fun night!

Your Birthday: October 12, 1989Blog: trevorandivytaylor.blogspot.com

-Tell us a little bit about yourself:
I was born in Utah and then lived in Iowa, Missouri, and New Mexico before returning to Utah to attend BYU.  I am the middle child of 5, 2 girls 3 boys. I met my wonderful husband in a chemistry class at BYU. My father-in-law's favorite story to tell is that he called Trevor to see where he was: FIL: where are you?" Trevor: "At a girl's apartment studying." FIL: "Oh really? What are you studying?" T: "Chemistry" FIL: (after a good laugh) "Well what about chemistry are you studying then?" Trevor: (timidly) "Combustion" and it was the truth, we were studying combustion :).  We were married on November 21, 2009 in Salt Lake City.  I graduated from BYU with a degree in Exercise Science.  We have two little girls, Aleigha-22 months and Sophia-2 months and I have the great pleasure of being home to watch them learn and grow up.

*if you could eat at any restaurant for your birthday what would it be?
Cheesecake Factory, next to ice cream, cheesecake is my favorite dessert and when I have room, their food is also amazing!

*If you could go anywhere in the world where would it be?
I would love to go to either Ireland or New Zealand.  I just think that they are both gorgeous!

*What is your favorite tv show?
Psych.  Mystery/Detective, Comedy, and Clean all rolled into one show.

*What was one of your favorite vacations?
We were able to go to Cancun with Trevor's family.  The ocean was beautiful and we were able to visit a lot of the cultural and Mayan sites that were really neat.  We also swam with dolphins which was a lot of fun!
