General Meeting

The month of January, we focused on Healthy Life Styles. Our own member Sariah, spoke to us about the food we eat. The biggest advice was to savor and appreciate the food you are eating. Take time to taste and enjoy it. By doing so, you are less likely to overeat, or overindulge. Eat in moderation, diets are temporary, but good eating habits are sustaining!

We then had a BLAST when Melissa brought pedometers and we did a relay using everyday household chores, but turning them into exercise! It's so easy to see how to make the most physical activity out of activities done all the time.

We completed the night with Chelsey teaching us some of her favorite zumba moves. It was a very active night, and a good boost for the new year!
