Tell us about your family.
We have 2 little boys, Sawyer is 2 in June and Oliver will be 5 months in June.
How do you spend your free time?
Well I spend my free time TRYING to do entirely too much. Some of the things I enjoy are taking walks with my boys, talking on the phone to my sisters (we literally talk for hours everyday), quilting, sewing lots of things, digital scrapbooking, knitting is my new found love, blogging, getting jealous looking at other blogs...watching tv...and my treadmill.
Tell us about a favorite event of your adulthood.
This is kind of random. Before we were married we auditioned for a chance to win an appearance on the TV show Reba. We just happened upon it at a theme park and decided it would be funny. So we are at the setup, there's a camera and a director lady, and she tells us to go. So we start with our lines, and immediately we're laughing. She laughs and smiles, and nicely says, "oh it's fine guys, just try it again..." Well we start again, and I start laughing again and her face is stone cold, and she's stern and says "Okay, okay, one more time." I had to fight it so hard not to laugh and we just rushed through, I know it was utterly awful!
If you could live anywhere in the world for a year, where would it be? Why?
My dad is from England, and I've been fortunate enough to go three times, and I absolutely love everything about it. I truly appreciate history being there. One of my favorite places is the Tower of London and a new town we visited this last time called Lincoln. I could definitely spend a year there with family and just going from town to town, love it!
If you knew could you try anything and not fail, what dream would you attempt?
I think when we are finally settled one day, I'd love to become an interior designer, but only for my benefit. I don't want to work for other people or anything :) I also really really love forensics and detective work. I regularly watch all the murder shows, so much that I see repeat murders done by a different network. Ernesto kinda thinks it's creepy, but I am just so interested in it. I don't think I could honestly handle it emotionally, but I'd love to be a detective.
Where are you from?
I was born in Mission Viejo, California and only lived there for three months. We moved to Littleton, Colorado until I was 12, then we moved to Alpine, Utah. I went to school, Utah Valley University, in Orem, Utah and then my husband and I lived various places in Utah, most recently Draper. Where am I from you say? I usually say Alpine :)
