My husband and I have been married for 2 1/2 years. We met in college our freshman year and have been together ever since. We are both from Missouri and love it here, despite the crazy weather! We have one dog, a bullmastiff named Simba and he is the cutest giant teddy bear! I work at Maurices here in Kirksville and love it!

Best birthday memory- It was the first year that Greg and I were dating.  I was very homesick and he really wanted to make me feel special.  He bought me several yellow gerber daises (my favorite flower) and hid them in my neighbors apartment.  He had all my friends go and get one through out the day and bring it to me.  That way I literally got flowers all day long.  When he got of work and came over he brought me several pink gerber daises.  It was the sweetest thing ever!!!

Any birthday gift-  We finally got it!!!  After many years, we are having a baby!  Baby is due Sep. 3.

Favorite movie- The Princess Bride is the best movie EVER!!!

Best job-  Mathematical research was my favorite job.  I really miss it and hope that I can get back to it when we move for residency.

We are a family of 3.  Mark is doing his 3rd and 4th year rotations in Carbondale, Illinois and we are loving it so far! I get to stay home with our 3 year old daughter, Lizzy.  Things we do when Mark's not around: play, vege, clean, read, shop, attempt to craft, sew, cook, go on walks, preschool, eat yummy snacks.  Things we do when Mark is around: fun things outside, camp, hike, go out to eat, watch movies, have dance parties.  We prefer it when Mark's around. :)

*Who is your favorite musical group/band/singer?  My favorite all time singer is Julie Andrews---she's classic and seriously perfect in every way.  But I love listening to Ingrid Michaelson, Jack Johnson, I love Kelly Clarkson's new album, I don't know, anything fun.

*What is your favorite tv show?

Parks and Rec.  It's hilarious!  I  love Amy Poehler!!
*Best birthday memory?

In 2009, I spent my birthday welcoming our little Lizzy into the world! :) It was the best bday present I've ever gotten.
