-Tell us a little bit about yourself:
I grew up in Utah. My husband and I were married in 2007, and are expecting our first baby (a girl) next month! :) I love to read, and do crafts.
*if you could eat at any restaurant for your birthday what would it be? Cafe Rio. It isn't that fancy, but it was my favorite place to go in Utah, and because we don't have one here in Kirksville makes me want it even more :)
*If you could go anywhere in the world where would it be? A Disney theme park--any of them :)

-Tell us a little bit about yourself:
I grew up in Orem, Ut. and i'm the 4th of 12 children. I went to BYU where I studied exercise science, ran track, and met my amazing husband. I have a little boy named Carter that I love SO much. I enjoy hiking, boating, sports, and movies. I love living here in Kirksville and all the fun people that are here.
*what is one of your worst embarrassing moments?
I was in a bathroom stall at a family function and I thought my little sister came into the stall next to me (she had the same shoes on) so, as a joke, I grabbed her leg and started shaking it. Then I realized that it wasn't my sister in the stall. Needless to say, I hurried out of the bathroom before the lady saw me.
*Who is your favorite musical group/band/singer?
Celine Dion, she has the most BEAUTIFUL voice off all time.
*What is your favorite movie?
Anything with Jim Carrey, he's hilarious.

Happy Birthday Sharon Wilkinson!
Sorry this is a little late!
Name: Sharon Wilkinson
Student’s Name: Mark Wilkinson
Student’s Graduation Year: 2014
Your Birthday: May 15th 1982 you can do the math :)
-Tell us a little bit about yourself:
I grew up in Riverton, Utah and am the youngest of 9 children. I used to ask my Mom if I could have a younger sibling and she would just politely smile and say "No...I don't think that is a possibility." So I got stuck being the recipient of all the teasing and unsolicited advice, but it was fun too. When Riverton started getting too crowded, we moved to the thriving city of Herriman. It was a big day when we got a gas station, and it lit up the whole town. Now there is even a stop light and a grocery store! I studied music at the University of Utah and met Mark there in a romantic Spanish class! I was smitten, and we were engaged by the end of the semester! We've been married for 6 years and he is my best friend. We have three children Anna 5, Benjamin 3, Jeffrey 1. We have loved living here in Kirksville and will really miss it when we move to Ohio!
*if you could eat at any restaurant for your birthday what would it be? Cheesecake Factory (Although...Mark found some of their cheesecake in Walmart's frozen food section which is pretty exciting. Not exactly the same, but still pretty awesome!)
*Who is your favorite musical group/band/singer? I LOVE the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. I also like most any classical music (except for opera), some types of jazz, and folk music is fun too.
*If you could go anywhere in the world where would it be? Chile.
*What is your favorite movie? The classic 5 hour Pride and Prejudice.
*what was the best job you ever had? Definitely my current job. The pay isn't great and the hours are long, but my three little "customers" give great hugs and kisses...and they are always right :-).
*What is your favorite thing to do in your spare time? I like to take naps, and try without success to convince my kids to play the "nap game" with me. I love the outdoors...hiking, camping, laying on the grass and looking up at the stars...I enjoy music and reading when there is time and I love hanging out with Mark and the kids.
*What is one thing most people dont know about you? I'll let you in on one of my deepest darkest secrets. I used to sleep in the U of U music building's practice rooms on extra late nights!...pretty shocking eh? The lounge couches were a more comfortable option, but there were cameras in there and the mean security guys kicked me out once at 2am. So I went with the camera-free practice rooms that also locked for extra safety :-). Looking back I don't think that was very wise, but it seemed easier at the time than going home. There you have it!
*If you could get any gift for your birthday this year what would it be? Maybe some sunshine, some time at the park, and if possible, to find out that we passed 7th quarter and can move on to 3rd year! That would be nice.
*What was one of your favorite vacations? A trip Mark and I took to Yellowstone. It was our very first "family vacation" as newly weds that we were able to fund ourselves, and we had a great time! Although we both could have used some practice buiding a fire and keeping it lit, because the hot dogs never quite got hot.

Name: Andrlynn Beam
Student’s Name: Zachary Beam
Student’s Graduation Year: 2014
Your Birthday: May 9, 1986
-Tell us a little bit about yourself:
I am from the great state of Oklahoma!! I earned my Bachelor's degree from the University of Oklahoma and my Masters in Health Administration from ATSU-SHM. Zach and I meet in the ER where I was a volunteer and he was working nights as a medic. I am a sister, daughter, aunt, wife, lover of all things country (music, a cold beer on a beautiful summer night, rodeos, fairs, dirt roads, and two-step), runner, friend, dog lover, but mostly I am just a young woman trying to enjoy life and be the best version of myself each day!!
*what is one of your worst embarrassing moments?
Easy: saying the word "fart" over the microphone during a rehearsal for my Jr. High graduation speech....I was supposed to say "part"....thank the good Lord I said the right word during the real deal!! Honestly...you all remember how much teasing happens in Jr. High....this was not a fun moment for me...I'm turning red just thinking about it...over a decade later!!
*if you could eat at any restaurant for your birthday what would it be?
No restaurant....instead it would be my Grandma's kitchen...with my family laughing till' we had tears in our eyes....eating her famous fried chicken and gravy.
*What is your favorite movie?
Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken
*If you could go anywhere in the world where would it be?
Cape Town, South Africa (mainly because "The Bachelor" made it seem so stinkin' awesome...yes...I really am that lame!)

Happy Birthday Leslie Marin!!
Name: Leslie Marin
Student’s Name: Kris Marin
Student’s Graduation Year: 2014
Your Birthday: May 8
Blog: http://www.lesliemarin.blogspot.com/
I'm Leslie, married to Kris for 6 years and mom to Isaac- 5, Kaylie-3, and Jessica- 8 months. I grew up a navy brat- lived in Alaska and Japan, and settled in Texas. When I was in Kindergarten I lived next door to the boy who would one day introduce me to my husband in college. I have a slight obsession with pop culture and history. I studied abroad in London and felt more at home there than I have most other places. When I walked around the city I had a fantastic playlist I'd listen to on my ipod that at times I'd walk in time to and imagine was the soundtrack to the movie of my life :) I love meeting new people though it can take me a little while to get out of my shell. I enjoy laughing and being with my friends and my sweet family!
*if you could eat at any restaurant for your birthday what would it be?
I'd love to have good ol' Cafe Rio but alas that is a dream. I'd also take some fantastic Indian food. The spiciest Chicken Tikka Masala I could find with some naan... oh happiness!
*If you could go anywhere in the world where would it be?
France with my husband. We have each been before but not together. Since Kris knows how to speak French it would be a different experience than my last one. Would be fun to laze about and travel through the country... oh and REALLY enjoy the pastries, breads and cheeses!
*What is your favorite movie?
Gah- who can answer only one? Trust me I have a ton- same with books and TV, but I can always count on Star Wars, Mean Girls, Pride and Prejudice, Eternal Sunshine for the Spotless mind, and High Fidelity. Seriously this question almost throws me into a frenzy because I LOVE MOVIES!
*what was the best job you ever had?
I waited tables for several years at a steakhouse and LOVED it. I really enjoyed making sure other people had a great experience and the food was yummy. I also worked in special collections at the BYU library... oh that was happiness too!
*What is your favorite thing to do in your spare time?
READ! I love books (will be a librarian some day) and when I was single I would take my birthday off of work and spend the morning and afternoon wandering around Barnes and Noble. I enjoy cooking as well and it is one of my favorite ways to spend time with my family. Otherwise I can hole up with the TV and Netflix and watch HGTV/Food Network/Seinfeld, Friends, Survivor, ANTM, Bones, CSI, and The Office reruns till the end of time.
*If you could get any gift for your birthday this year what would it be?
1 of 2 things: 1) I am now hired as a historical consultant for feature films and this is my ticket to get on a red carpet/in the studio to be a part of making movies... or a slightly more preferred 2) a year paid trip around the world that I could cash in when med school and life aren't so hectic. I WANT to travel and I will!.. who wants to come along ?
